Google leaks its own Pixel Buds A-Series with new fast pairing tech – Engadget

The main Android Twitter account simply revealed some previously unannounced new audio hardware, by tweeting (and then erasing) a post about the Pixel Buds A-Series. The post itself didn’t say much about the brand-new earbuds other than that they include Google’s new quick Bluetooth pairing experience that is currently rolling out in the brand-new Fitbit Luxe wearable.

Google 9to5Google identified the tweet, and has reported on a number of rumors about upcoming Pixel Buds, which may deliver in new white and green colors together with their updated Bluetooth hardware. The “A” designation could indicate that they’ll be available in at a lower cost point than their predecessors that introduced at $179, however the rumors indicate their touch controls will still be the same. Google’s virtual I/O conference is set up to begin on May 18th, and possibly we’ll get some confirmed info about these then, if not earlier.
