Despite the very first quarter of 2021 seeing the rise of Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hofsetter amongst other female creators, statistics show that the variation between male and female streamers is still enormous.
While females such as Valkyrae and Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys have increased to the upper tiers of streaming, they are surrounded by a frustrating majority of males. 100 Thieves’iconic content developer Valkyrae topped the charts for the most viewed female creator. Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel tops the charts with 73.2 m, which is more than 6 times Valkyrae’s numbers and the tenth highest streamer, Ibai ‘ibai’ Llanos, has 21.6 m. In the VTube sphere, nevertheless, female avatars rule supreme.
