London Covid cases by borough as 560,000 get second vaccine dose – Evening Standard

The main figures show:

  • Eleven districts saw cases drop by at least a 3rd in the week to April 2, compared to the previous 7 days.The most significant fall was in Hammersmith and Fulham where confirmed Covid infections were down 50 per cent, followed by Brent 47.5 per cent, Hounslow 46.7 per cent, Lambeth 43.2 per cent, and Greenwich 40.8 per cent.Only one district saw a boost, Kensington and Chelsea, up 7 per cent, or four cases.London’s seven-day rate was 26.8 verified new infections per 100,000 individuals in the week to April 2, down 28.7 per cent compared to the previous week.The least expensive rate in the capital was Hackney and City of London at 15.1, followed by Croydon 16, Lewisham 16.3, Lambeth 16.6, and the main borough of Westminster was 18.8. The greatest rate was Bexley at 45.1, followed by Hillingdon 42 and Ealing 40.7. A further 317 cases were revealed for the capital yesterday.
