Sony Suggests MLB Made the Decision to Include MLB The Show 21 on Xbox Game Pass – Push Square

“As part of the objective for this year‘s game, MLB chose to bring the franchise to more players and baseball fans,”a thoroughly worded declaration from PlayStation stated, as reported by Inverse. MLB, not PlayStation, is publishing the baseball simulation on Xbox consoles– in spite of it being established internally by Sony’s completely owned San Diego team. It’s possible that MLB may have withdrawed the rewarding license had Sony not concurred to– pun meant– play ball.
