Sonys PS3, PSP, and Vita digital stores reportedly closing for good this summer – Eurogamer.net

DF Retro Extra: Sony PSP vs Nintendo DS at E3 2004. Today’s report isn’t an entirely unanticipated advancement, of course, offered that PlayStation 3, PSP, and Vita video games disappeared from the desktop and mobile versions of the PlayStation Store last October following a redesign. Sony’s newest modifications suggest it’ll no longer be possible to buy digital copies of games or DLC for PlayStation 3, PSP, and Vita directly from a gadget’s shop app either. There’s no indicator of how the relocation may affect games purchased prior to the shop closures as yet -probably gamers will still be able to re-download their purchases as required-but more need to be exposed in Sony’s main announcement, due at the end of March.
