2021 Gaming Awards Winners Across 12 Categories Announced – sxsw.com

The winners were announced during the virtual SXSW Gaming Awards reveal produced in partnership with IGN and provided by Discord. The ceremony also highlighted exclusive segments of the creative process behind the video games, the talent that influenced and advanced the culture of gaming in 2020, and previews of interesting upcoming projects.

Announcing the winners for the eighth yearly SXSW Gaming Awards, acknowledging the most influential and creative titles, groups, and individuals in the market across 12 different categories.

This year’s SXSW Gaming Awards included 43 candidates across 12 various classifications, with winners figured out by a weighted total between personnel and advisory board input in addition to public voting.
