Do you remember when you got the call to return? How long did the entire recording process of Future Connected take?
I always take a look back at bits from the initial game as a reference and we do some voice matching in the studio to ensure the voice is consistent.
When I get hired to do video games it’s always quite unclear. Interesting though. My agent said I ‘d be doing some recording on * code word * which I’ll be reprising my role as Shulk.
When you found out about the job, were you shocked at all to learn that the first Xenoblade Chronicles was coming back and was even getting a brand-new epilogue?
Constantly a pleasure, never a task. It’s excellent that Nintendo keep finding ways to continue the story. It was 2011 when I initially recorded XC and despite the fact that that’s nearly 10 years ago the time has actually flown by. The concern for me was “does my voice still sound the same?” Thankfully my voice doesn’t age the very same as the rest of me.
