Coronavirus test centre closed due to ‘unforeseen incident’ – Liverpool Echo

Wirral’s public health group attempts to keep the virus under control in the district.

A declaration on the council’s Facebook page read: “Due to an unexpected event the Hamilton Building parking area testing website is CLOSED today (Wednesday 7 October).

“Anyone with a test booked for today at the Birkenhead website will have been contacted via text to provide an alternative site. If you are experiencing signs of Covid-19 please self-isolate and book a test.

“Tests are readily available at Europa Leisure Centre in Birkenhead as well as sites in Bebington, Liscard and Bidston here.”
